Unless there are companion Senate versions... or any of that even makes it through committees, committee votes, floor scheduling, floor debates, amendments from the floor, and to a final vote to eventually go over to the Senate for the same treatment, then none if it is going too far any time soon.

Some of those items might be fast-tracked due to them being "red meat", but otherwise....

They NEED to work on appropriations for FY 2017 because the entire federal government is still operating on a CR (until April 28th). And the "debt ceiling" is due for action (increase) some time this month...

That's kinda what I thought. They're so damn eager to have their fire sale they're pouring gasoline on their own stuff. I would posit that that's because they're all fucking idiots, but at this point I'm not much inclined to stop them. If they want to set all of our nice things on fire, the least that can happen is that we get to enjoy watching them run around like headless chickens and beg us for help when they realize theyve lit up the coop in addition to the farmhouse.

Our response to that 'request' should be to quote Saint Ronnie back to them and 'just say no'.

They don't care how many times we march and call and email. In fact, some of them find it amusing. Democrats don't have the numbers to stop anything. If anything fails to pass it will be at the discretion of a semi-sane Republican. We might as well remain distracted.

This Congress, fully controlled by ideologically deranged right wing extremists are an equal or greater threat than 45.

And, that they are so craven as to allow a Russian mole as our potus be completely unchecked for the sake of enabling their hate-filled, destructive agenda highlights that fact.

bills in the House. They make it impossible in many instances to sue, and in others they make it harder to recover and for amounts that are capped at very low amounts. It is corporate America's dream to keep individuals and workers from being able to sue large corporations.

It is not just Lady Justice that is blind, the American people are too because our media can only handle one or two stories at a time.

With the exception of HR 69, none of these bills has "advanced" beyond the stage of being introduced (in several instances with only a handful of co-sponsors) and referred to one or more committees (a ministerial, essentially automatic act that occurs with respect to every bill that is introduced).

And people are mobilizing against these bills. I've received multiple emails about the planned parenthood defunding bill, the EPA termination bill and others.
