Palm Beach is up in arms, they are not happy people and want 45 to find somewhere else to go

on weekends. Was watching the local news this a.m. as they interviewed the local citizens. "We were not and are not prepared for his visits here every weekend and it's hurting our businesses terribly." That was the general gist of the complaints. The donald was never greatly liked down here and these weekend trips are just annoying the citizens. There is a lot of power down here and will be curious to see what they do about this inconvenience. Many main roads are shut down (Worth Avenue) and those businesses are suffering. Tourism has dropped off considerably and people are going somewhere else. When you start affecting places like Worth Avenue and The Breakers Hotel, there will be changes made. Don't know how but this will be interesting to watch.

I'm very familiar with the Town of Palm Beach. Obviously it is home to very upscale retail shops and businesses, the Breakers Hotel and Resort, and of course hundreds of the world's 1% residences.

It is hard enough to get to and travel around Palm Beach in the Winter season due to traffic and relatively narrow two lane roads. Factor in the Orange Wonder and it must be a complete nightmare.

HELL would be my first choice. He is having a helipad constructed (at taxpayer expense of course) to solve the problem. Hopefully he will be impeached before it is finished. These trips every weekend at draining the treasury at an unbelieveable rate. $3 MILLION at a conservative estimate. Then add tRump Tower in NY. Mrs. tRump flies down separately, so that add to the cost. This person (I refuse to call him a man) is a luxury we can not afford.

If he, his staff, the Secret Service, and all the rest all have to stay in government-owned property, he doesn't get to collect money from them for lodging, food, communications upgrades, and a new heliport at Mar-a-Loco. No money goes into his pocket if they stay at Camp David, where the infrastructure is already in place for accommodating the necessary entourage.

Well, not since this moran started coming her every weekend, I'm now staying out west in polo/horse country at my daughter's to avoid that nightmare. Once was enough for me.

I've driven into West Palm to help line the road with protesters going from the airport to Mar-a-largo when this human plague shows up. I've also asked people there if they were familiar with DU hoping to maybe find one of you guys there but so far, no luck.

I have friends whose businesses are directly effected and who are losing money hand over fist. The Winter Season is when many make most of their profit for the year and Dump is killing them.

Worth Ave is a long ass way from Dump's club too and I was totally unaware it was actually closed until I read this. Hard to believe.

just waiting for Dump to leave or arrive - it's surreal. It's hard for me to grasp that this emotionally immature and narcissistic individual was actually elected President by a slight majority our fellow countrymen. Supposedly ...

I would never in my long life have imagined that so many rural folks and southerners especially could fall for what they would normally would consider to be one of them "loudmouthed, big city New York smart asses".

And the rubes fell for it in droves too.

I'm actually hoping they build that waste-of-the-taxpayers money helipad quickly to get him in and out without screwing up traffic so much. I like eating out on the Island weekends.

Either that or he's impeached or resigned soon to get him the hell out of here.

Bad part is: even if he's out of office he still gets SS security coming and going until he expires and he just loves coming to Palm Beach.

Our best outcome for locals (as well as they rest of the country) is if he goes to jail.
