I think sometimes it's hard to wrap my head around just what's going on in the executive office of late - each player seems to have their own corrupt reason for perverting democracy and thwarting a functioning government.

For some, it ideological.
For others, it's about money and the power it affords.
And then there's the "we just want to get re-elected" crowd because hey, it's kinda a sweet gig.
