Would it be different now if Trump had released his tax returns and his business records?

Would Trump even have been the nominee of the Republican Party?

It is a mystery as to why the Congress did not pass legislation to prevent this crisis that we are now experiencing?

It is even more of a mystery as to why they don't pass something right now??

America is not a country that can survive in a secretive and non-transparent state. How long will it take the politicians to see that reality?

His taxes will only show what he wants it to show. It will include sketchy, but legal, loopholes, bankruptcy, etc. If there are any "errors," he will just pay a penalty. His posse didn't care about the info from the taxes we did see.

Russians could be handing him boxes of cash and there would be no record of it.

Wasn't it Manaford who was listed on the ledger for a Russian politicial party? I think it was 12 million. And that was disputed and led to nada.

He is dishonest with every other aspect of his life. Why would he be honest with his tax returns?

He admitted that those tax returns that were leaked were indeed true copies and it made no difference to his supporters that he was not a successful business person and was using his losses to avoid all income taxes for decades (because as he said he was smart)

It is already public knowledge that he owes millions to Chinese, Deutsche Bank and probably Russian bankers and many other banks and investors but none of his supporters and Repubs care that he is compromised by the conflicts of interest with all this debt, much of it involving foreign interests and even foreign governments.
