prior to the election. It gave the GOP a reason to buy t.v. commercials with a simple message, "Would you elect a candidate who is under Federal investigation."

That's what Trump wants to do with this investigation. He wants to discredit Obama by claiming he is under Federal investigation. That would quell the protests among his own supporters.

We need a true stateman/woman to fall on their sword and bring this treasonous cabal to justice.

Every day that passes under this regime brings us closer to annihilation.

I don't often resort to hyperbole. In this case, I just have a nose for imminent anarchy.

she was the one who, when it was pointed out that the latest alt-fact was bullshit, said, basically that: "well we got it out there and you reported it" with that evil crypt-keeper grin on her face.

IOW, it doesn't matter if it's true or not, we won.

Manufacturing outrage in order to impose policy.

To paraphrase

Even if not true....Trump still will make use of his thinking that Democratic/Leftists/Liberal holdovers are traitors to the president and America.

It's a purge to make it so that presidents can force out all professional/trained government workers and allow only those politically appointed. Gutting the staff necessary for an agency to run properly, giving reason said agency is useless and should be gone. Government they want to - "reduce it to the size where I can drag it into the bathroom and drown it in the bathtub." Grover Norquist
