How does the Trump-Russia thing NOT have a name?

Everything is a "____gate" these days. Hell even in football they had a "gate".

But this doesn't. Not that I've seen anyway. There's no goto short reference to the 7 or so elements of this thing.

How is that possible? Is this "no name gate"?

republicans and their Draft-&-Tax-Dodger-in-Chief sold America out to the russians and their evil freaking mob.

It's TraitorGate (R).

I was proud of it, but I've tried to use it twice now, and it's not getting any traction. 🙁 I'm glad I'm not the only one who likes it!

to the point of being trivialized.

We need a new meme. Perhaps one will emerge from this clusterfuck.

and the herd mentality being what it is results in everyone calling it that.

"Brexit" was coined by a Brit newspaper for example.

"Russia-a-Lago" doesn't exactly roll off the tongue, but I kind of love it.

makes a not certain hash tag on Twitter so I'm using it until I see something better.

Although I agree '-gate' has been rather over used I think this time it's a rather appropriate to use it since it brings to some minds memories of Nixon/Watergate... although I think this is going to be far worse.

I think the reason we don't have just one is that there are so many scandals associated with Trump, so that just his name connotes scandal. Some day we may find the word "trump" in the dictionary is synonymous with scandal.
