Last edited Mon Mar 6, 2017, 04:20 PM - Edit history (1)
Couldn't believe my eyes. Every week, the NY Attorney General emails a weekly bullet points broadcast, on things like high profile prosecutions, money for mortgage frauds, etc. At first thought, I presumed it was a message to me, about trying to get justice in our eToys case (NYAG Eliot Spitzer buried the investigation). Upon further review, it appears the February 19, 2017 email by the New York Attorney General's office has a hidden F.U. concerning frauds upon questionable status immigrants.
The hidden message, behind the picture, is a yuuuge ... F-K You

(7,805 posts)Eliot Spitzer didn't personally respond either. Tom McCarran and Andrew Lorin did.
McCarran quit - and Andrew Lorin is a TOOL
Then Eliot Spitzer promoted the one judge of our eToys NY Sup Ct case (Karla Moskowitz) - who was doing a decent job.

(7,520 posts)I think that's the "if this image doesn't display" caption. Politicians are probably not doing their own image tagging.
laserhaas
(7,805 posts)I sent them an email

(7,520 posts)Unless it is an online link to an image. If it's that or a direct website, they certainly can update it.
Looks like Gmail online? Depends how it's embedded. It could be a link to a live hosted image that they could change on their end, and the image on your phone *didn't* download and that's why you saw the placeholder text.

(59,498 posts)The current AG, Sneiderman was not even his immediate successor - that was Andrew Cuomo, the current governor.
Like others said, it is highly unlikely that the AG himself is managing the website. It is pretty strange - and I bet if brought to the attention of the AG's office, it will be quickly removed.
laserhaas
(7,805 posts)But NYAG received copies of my complaints (against Goldman Sachs & Bain Capital & Paul Traub)
and didn't even bother to respond - PERIOD

(37,549 posts)The New York courts really want nothing to do with you.
To the jury... That is actually true two separate federal courts have declared this particular poster a vexatious litigant. ... a simple search of my username and the posters username in the handy search box provided by the administration will prove that.

(7,805 posts)I'm still here and you are STILL being deceitful.
You bash and banter, a - victim - callously, because I dare to stay in the fight against tyranny, cronyism and corruption (of revolving door federal agents, who are also lawyers).
As you side with them, against me, unrelenting, unremorseful - as you so keenly point out about "search" /archives, just like B at DK, your reprehensible, bad faith remarks, stand as a permafixed testimony against you.
I do have a right, to get enraged, at your Laser hating, disingenous efforts;
but I refrain, from so doing, learning the lesson to
Not GAF
Nor be baited.
Keep it up, as you will; but the pending BAR actions, against Paul Traub, will stand as a moment, to your shameful ways.

(7,805 posts)to get me to take her name of my letters and websites.
And I told the Agent to go F ..... then reconsidered (somewhat); because he was duped. An Assistant U.S. Attorney contacts an FBI Agent to get me to "back off" - doesn't mean the FBI Special Agent is bad - it could mean he was just a pawn.
So, knowing they "must" create an Office of Review & Oversight case number, if they investigate, and it takes more than 1 hour - resulted in my emailing Ellen Slights (Colm Connolly's assistant) and others (including Colm) telling them to F themselves.
And pointing out the FBI Agent is caught between a rock and a hard place.
Unlike - YOU - he didn't defend their bad faith position.
He emailed me a Thank You and asked that I keep him in the loop.
Just like Taibbi and Sirota don't control the presses, field federal agents don't get to pick case assignments.

(7,805 posts)Much egg on your false remarks face, for defending crooked lawyers
Thanks to Trump nominating a Goldman Sachs crony to be head of SEC.
Which is compounded by the NY Sup Ct Appellate Division reopening our eToys case complaints againt Paul Traub

(15,859 posts)Doubt the AG runs it himself.
laserhaas
(7,805 posts)But it is - still - very damning.
I presume, if someone else had caught it, they would have fixed it and apologized
And FIRED the culprit
