from Tom Perez:Here's something you can do right now

Here's something you can do right now to make sure Trump knows we won't back down, Ellen.

Tonight at 6 p.m., join Tom outside the White House to stand with our Muslim friends and neighbors and make our voices heard: this ban does not represent who we are as Americans.

As we've seen over the past few weeks, you can make a difference by showing up and speaking out. The rally will begin across the street from the White House, on Pennsylvania Ave NW between Madison & Jackson:

Donald Trump just signed an updated version of his Muslim ban. But don't let the second attempt ruin your first impression -- this ban is just as discriminatory and un-American as the last one.

Donald Trump's hateful, disgraceful Muslim ban goes against our core values as Americans. Add your name and join me to denounce it right now.

This ban, like the last one, is unconstitutional. You don't have to take my word for it -- just ask the multiple federal courts that ruled against it the first time.

You would think that Trump might have taken a few minutes after that to read the Constitution. (I'd suggest starting with Article III for a refresher on the role of the judicial branch, and then move on to what the First Amendment says about freedom of religion.)

Instead, he's slapping a fresh coat of paint on an old, discriminatory policy.

I'm confident the courts will rule against Donald Trump again soon. Until then, make sure he knows we're not backing down:

Thanks.
