What's the deal with Jim Comey ??

Is he an ally of Donald Trump or not?

Was he in the middle of an investigation against Trump when he re-opened the investigation against Hillary during the campaign? Did he think Hillary was going to win the election and he was going to do a thorough investigation against Trump and associates and put them away?

Then, he had to change his strategy once Trump took the White House?

Does he have anything against Trump at this time? Since he has come out of the shadows and challenged the credibility of the White House, is he holding he evidence as we speak?

If Trump discovers what he is holding, why wouldn't he just fire him? Do you think that is a fear of Comey's? Would that prevent him from exposing what he has on Trump?

1. I think....

that he personally despises Clinton and couldn't help himself from putting his thumb on the scale. But he has Trumpgrets and is beginning to realize the scope of his assholery.

2. He's like the characters in Gone Girl.

3. He's a Republican*

which means 1) he doesn't like Hillary anyway but more importantly, 2) he's a coward.

I think he got raked over the coals for clearing Hillary and, when "new" information came across his desk he tried to prevent that from happening again, by immediately releasing it. Even his statements last summer?(also a break with tradition) were an effort to cover his ass.

I don't think he's a Trump fan; he thinks too highly of himself for that.

*just a note: it would be nice if Democratic presidents stopped appointing Republicans to security, defense, law 'n' order positions...please!

4. Patience....

Yes... Comey royally screwed the pooch on the wiener/Clinton/email thing....

Put that aside for a moment and review what he has done since then....
Met w/legislators.. but did not reveal much despite "classified" meeting status....

Had super secret meeting with Senate Intelligence Committee..... and invited Schumer who is ex-oficio Member... clearly shared some classified info

Met with House Intelligence Committee (only because they found out about Senate meeting) but was not as "forthcoming " w/info as he was w/senate

He has now agreed to give Senate Committee access to some raw intelligence ...

Would not consent to talk to media on WH behalf when asked to do so...

Now has let it be known that 45's Obama Wire Tap crap is not true.....


Perhaps, the investigation(s) in progress are bigger than Trump alone....

Perhaps, one of these has been active since before Russia hacked anything...

Perhaps Russian Election Collusion is just the most recent act
in a series of potentially illegal acts ...
but has also revealed a far larger network of associates than was originally under investigation....

Perhaps 45 has now led Comey to the whole hive...


Or perhaps Comey has zero intention of seriously pursuing any investigation at all...,.

IMHO, it will be a RICO case that takes 45 out of office....
but there will only be one chance to make it stick...

5. Comey is hard to figure. He had a reputation for integrity that now can be challenged.

But by now sharing sensitive information with the historically less partisan Senate Intelligence Committee than with the republican zealot controlled House equivalent, he seems to be trying to tilt the field toward action against Trump. Maybe Comey secretly wanted Pence sitting in the Oval Office and blew up Clinton and now is trying to blow up Trump.

6. I doubt that he's a big Pence supporter.

I just looked him up and he and his wife belong to the United Methodist church, which isn't generally associated with religious zealotry. Wikipedia had nothing on his religion. Heavy.com had a pretty good rundown.
