Pres. Trump's grandfather pleaded not to be deported in a letter in 1905

http://www.msnbc.com/the-last-word/watch/pres-trump-s-grandfather-pleaded-not-to-be-deported-891677763660

In 1905, Friedrich Trump penned a letter about the hardships of immigration. More than century later, his grandson's administration pushes anti-family immigration policies.

I think he would be ashamed of his grandson......

Seriously. I don't think he possesses the capacity to feel much of anything other than irritation and ire when his needs aren't immediately gratified.

We call those felonies, and it seems there are some family resemblances: Friedrich lied about his habitual criminality, exploited women, and called himself honest, humble and diligent. Also, for a 1905 letter, that's unseemly sucking up, even in a world where sucking up to monarchy was still the norm.

Unfortunately, the prince of Bavaria did deport him, and unfortunately for us, the US took him in.

Sorry, not a lot of sympathy for a family with a multi-generational history of gender exploitation, aversion to legal work and habitual dishonesty.
