Donald J. Trump: THIS is what white supremacy and white male privilege look like

Nobody ever tells the white heterosexual male (especially the rich white male like Trump) that he must be on his best behavior 100% of the time in order to have a full set of human rights or to be considered credible if he is attacked or assaulted or the victim of another type of crime. But if any other type of person is assaulted, raped or behaves badly, they are punished mercilessly. EVEN if that non-male, or non-white or non-heterosexual person is the victim of a crime – they are considered inferior, indefensible, non-credible. Persons of color or women are not to be believed. They are all considered initially inferior and the burden is perpetually upon them to prove otherwise to the white male overclass. Women are Madonnas or Sluts. Men of color are Thugs. Drug dealers. Rapists. All of them. And for sure some are. As are some white male, heterosexual men. In fact most sexual assaults are committed by men – even when the victim is male.
But for the most part:
White Male = good, honest, pure, credible.
Anything else = Bad, inferior, indefensible, animal, less than human, not credible.
It’s the epitome of white supremacy and male privilege.
Worse, this is THE reason we have a serial sexual predator in the White House. He has the utmost privilege of not having to behave himself. At all. In any form or fashion whatsoever. This is THE reason (besides no checks & balances now since this man’s white male brethren are in total control and protecting him & their own privilege) we have probably one of the World’s biggest crooks and CON men in the White House. Historically so. There has never been an administration in the US White House as criminal and corrupt as this one. This is THE reason that virtually nothing Donald J. Trump DOES, or SAYS is prosecutable. He daily breaks laws other Presidents have had to follow for decades, violates ethics rules that have been in place for as long and violates the constitution in ways that no one else has ever been allowed to. And, he has serially violated the human rights of many women. And what happens to him for all this?
NOTHING.
If a person of color, a Latino, Native American, an LGBT person or a woman did ANY of what Trump does (or any Democrat – although if the Democrat was a white male the outrage would still be less strident than if he were not), there would be HELL. TO. PAY. for that person.
Just IMAGINE if Barack Obama did or said ANY of what Trump has done or said or violated the number of laws, rules and parts of the constitution that Trump has. I’m not certain he’d not have been killed. If Barack Obama had done what Bill Clinton did (affair), the outrage would be ENORMOUS – and one HELL of a lot worse than it was when Clinton did it. Because Clinton is white, male and heterosexual. We all know this is true.
White Supremacy. Male privilege The notion that ONLY a person lucky enough to come out of his mamma’s womb white and male has a full set of human rights and is credible. Anyone else does not have such rights and is not credible. This is why women who are raped or sexually assaulted are never believed. They have no credibility. That’s not because women lie so much about such things. It’s simply because they’re not male and they are not afforded the benefit of the doubt that men are. Right off the bat. No matter what happened or what the situation was. SHE won’t be believed. SHE will be always the defendant, not her attacker (if he was male).
This is the world we live in and this is the attitude of those running the US now. White Americans – specifically white males can do ANYTHING THEY WANT. With utter impunity. NO ONE ELSE has such a full set of human and legal rights. While white males have basic human rights PLUS rights to violate any law they want with pretty much utter impunity, everyone ELSE is denied basic human rights AND is punished much more severely for ANY crime even if that person is the victim. And if (s)he is the perpetrator (s)he is punished MUCH more harshly than if (s)he were a white male. It’s quite simply the epitome of white supremacy and male privilege.
Here we are. And with a black president in our history and the fact that we almost had a woman president right on his heels, the white male overclass figured it needed to take back it’s dominance and re-assert it’s superiority and power over all. And so they have. For now. But it won’t last. It won’t last because Time only moves in ONE direction: forward. Clocks don’t move backwards unless they’re forced. So while their insecure, immoral, ignorant, inhumane power and superiority re-assertion campaign has won for now, it won’t in the long run. Like oil, coal & gas — like those and manufacturing jobs — this bullshit is on the way OUT. This is their last gasp before we continue to move FORWARD into a more egalitarian, multi-cultural, non-white-male-dominated society. And thankfully so. More than half this world’s population has been silenced for too long. The issues humanity now faces are far too complex and dangerous to only rely on the expertise or ideas of the ones who got us here to begin with.
Meanwhile though, we’re stuck with this ignorant bullshit. Put on your gas masks. It’s gonna be a while, folks.
But let’s talk a little bit more about this quite popular idea that women don’t deserve full reproductive healthcare, shall we? And yes I’m talking about reproductive healthcare whether that’s pre-natal care, post-natal care, infertility care, or contraceptives and abortion. I take issue with men in government perpetually trying to control women via these obstructive laws they keep passing, when men allegedly can’t even control themselves. It takes a particularly putrid version of male privilege for our society and the men in it to claim that men “can’t control themselves” when it comes to women and sex..for men to behave like Donald J. Trump does towards women — yet those same men want to control WOMEN.
Excuse me? You can’t control yourselves, but you wanna control women? I don’t think so.
Here’s the thing: For all of us, there is one and ONLY one person on this entire planet whose behavior we have any control whatsoever over. That is our OWN. For women to believe they have any control over male behavior or for men to think they should have any control over women’s behavior is just unrealistic. In psychological terms, that’s called ‘agency’ or ‘self-determination’. It’s also called a ‘boundary’. It’s the line between one person and another in terms of behavior. When we start believing we have control over other people’s behavior, we’re going into cray-cray land, folks. You only can control your own. That’s a fact.
In other words, it doesn’t matter how attractive a woman is, where she is, what she’s wearing (or not), what she had to drink, what time it is, what side of the street she’s on or who she’s with. If she’s assaulted, it’s because somebody ELSE decided they wanted to assault her. But isn’t it interesting that nobody is talking to the perpetrator. We’re all about telling victims of assault that they shouldn’t dress provocatively, shouldn’t be out late, hang with certain people, shouldn’t drink, shouldn’t party, or ever have consensual sex. Because if they do any of that, then they “deserve” somehow to be raped or assaulted. Or sacked with an unwanted pregnancy.
We never tell men that though. E V E R. Funny how that is, eh?
It’s as if society and especially these white guys somehow believe that these women – ANY woman – has control over men’s behavior. Based on a woman is wearing. Where she is. Who she’s with, and so on. But the TRUTH is that if a guy has decided that he is going to misbehave or commit a violent crime (which rape is), then NO ONE ELSE has any control over that — except HIM. It’s HIS decision. HIS actions. No one else’s. To believe otherwise is to engage in pure folly. It’s basic psychology. Men in abusive relationships love to use the false premise that the person they’re abusing is somehow in control of HIS behavior. But she isn’t in control of his behavior. HE is — he just doesn’t want to take responsibility for it. And usually, no one makes him. Viola! Male privilege.
Nobody’s talking to the perp. It’s like he doesn’t even exist. All the admonishment about HER changing HER behavior and what SHE did wrong or how SHE did something she shouldn’t — all the blame, shame and consequence is heaped upon the woman. On top of having been assaulted or abused. But the truth is it doesn’t matter what she did or didn’t do. HE is the only one who controls his behavior. Full. Stop. Unfortunately, our society – dominated for generations by white men – are well-trained to ensure their brethren are never held responsible for their rotten behavior and this is one of the primary mechanisms they use to do it.
Women don’t “get themselves” raped anymore than they “get themselves” pregnant. They don’t “make” men abuse them. Men CHOOSE to do these things. On their own. Full. Stop. Don’t ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
Oddly too, the men who most believe it’s OK for themselves to go around helping to create unwanted babies with impunity that they subsequently want to force a woman to carry to term, give birth to and raise alone just seem to get off scot-free in all this. Unless of course they’re black. Or Hispanic. Or anything but a white male. See how that works? Black fathers are all terrible and irresponsible. All Latino men are rapists. Donald J. Trump said so and that is in fact the attitude of most white men.
Notice they exempt themselves from the same high moral standards to which they want to force others (women and people of color primarily) to live. Republicans are notorious for their pretentious hypocrisy. A prime example of one of them is Donald J. Trump. He’s their figurehead. Their leader. Right now, Donald J. Trump is the World’s prime example of white supremacy and white male privilege.
Many of these white guys are out there passing laws to ensure that women are sexual and reproductive slaves with no say at all about what happens to their bodies. Last time that happened was when the black women commanded a higher price on the slave market because they could be bred. It’s all about control. Specifically it’s about these men trying to control women instead of learning to control themselves. It’s also about punishing women – especially poor women – for simply being HUMAN — for having sex or getting pregnant however it happened. It’s about denying women their full humanity.
It’s all about these guys wanting to control other people (yes women are people) when they can’t even control THEMSELVES. Or so they’d have us believe. They can control themselves though. They just don’t want to. It’s easier and more convenient to just behave like knuckle-dragging apes then blame and shame someone else and pawn the consequences off elsewhere.
White males have been doing this for eons. Women and people of color are their social trashcans into which many white men dump the worst of their own behavior. Then they point their finger to the acrid smoke wafting from that direction and trot off with a smirk, a black slap and the full crown of their white male privilege and full exemption from their own bad behavior and the consequences of it. All while accusing everyone else who looks different than them of being irresponsible, slutty, rapists, lazy, and myriad other bullshit epithets white guys like to lob at people whom since the beginning of this country’s formation, they have denied full and equal human rights.
Remember what I first wrote above about how we don’t tell white heterosexual men that THEY must always be on their best behavior to be respected, to be considered credible, intelligent, or be considered a legitimate victim of a crime? But what about women or a person of color or of a different religion, race or nationality? Ohhhh…things are quite different for “those” people.
White and male: exempt. From everything. Pretty much no matter what. Case in point: Donald J. Trump. Donald can SAY anything, DO anything. No matter how unethical, immoral, illegal. Doesn’t matter. He’s serially assaulted multiple women, violated the constitution from the moment he was sworn in, ignored ethics rules that NO one else could get away with ignoring (even past Republican Presidents), and he has numerous worldwide ties to international criminal elements and the Russian mafia. And yet for the white heterosexual men in our World: HE’S. THEIR. MAN. And he had the audacity to point at Hillary Clinton and call HER “crooked“.
Hillary Clinton could never DREAM of being as corrupt as Donald is and has been his entire life. But…she’s not male. So different rules apply to HER. This is the epitome of not only massive psychological projection but also of white male privilege. Right in everyone’s face. And this folks, is how it works. We’re living it large, now.
So let’s talk about those poor white guys who “can’t control themselves” and “who have needs” when it comes to women and sex. I have one thing to say to them: GROW. UP.
I’ll repeat this again for anyone who didn’t get it the first time. Especially you guys: YOU HAVE COMPLETE CONTROL over ONE person’s behavior on this planet: YOURS. No one else’s. YOURS. Under any circumstances, at any time, for any reason, no matter what anyone else is doing or what the situation is: YOU are the only person whose behavior you have any control over.
Note that at any time when that is or was not the case, then we’re talking about assault, imprisonment, torture, or slavery or other human rights abuses. If another human being’s self-determination, their ‘agency’ is taken from them, if they are physically being controlled by another, they are enslaved, being assaulted, or are being possessed as property.
This is why WOMEN do not belong to men to control. And this is why any man with an ounce of morality or ethics would not dream of trying to control another person by passing laws to keep that person from exercising their own full human rights ie: the right to control her own body.
For the privileged white men who might be reading this: Women are not chattel. Likewise, women are not your PROPERTY. Women are not your toys. Women are not your male service units. Women are not your eye candy or your decorations Women are not your entertainment. Women are not your goddamned incubators. They are HUMAN.
And you may not like it, but they have a full set of HUMAN rights. And you know what female humans do sometimes? They have CONSENSUAL SEX. And they don’t deserve to be PUNISHED for that with unwanted pregnancies or blamed because some jackass decided to assault them. They don’t deserve that anymore than YOU do, guys. That’s part of what all this bullshit is about as well: punishing women for being HUMAN. How DARE they have consensual sex. How dare they even want consensual sex! Men (especially white ones) are encouraged to go out and screw anything that moves. Consequence free! We exempt these men from responsibility for any and all behavioral control. And we exempt them from the consequences of their behavior. Funny how that works, isn’t it? THIS is what tells us that these men who support Donald Trump simply do not consider women HUMAN. It’s the crux of every one of these reproductive healthcare debates. And it is part of the mantle of white male privilege.
I’ll say it again: White men don’t have to be on their best behavior 100% of the time to be simply be considered HUMAN. But women do. And black people do. It’s women being shackled with a lesser set of human rights and on top of that, being blamed and punished for someone else’s behavior, whom she had absolutely no control over — because controlling the behavior of another person is not possible (unless we’re talking about imprisonment, slavery, torture, assault or human rights abuses).
Speaking of controlling behavior though: Nobody’s buying this bullshit about men being unable to control themselves sexually or having some special “needs”. Men can control themselves sexually. And they should.
Republicans are all about “personal responsibility”. Well then they should goddamned HAVE some. It’s not anyone else’s responsibility to control male sexual behavior other than men themselves. It’s not up to women to be abstinent or to behave themselves FOR men and if women do not do so, then we blame women exclusively for whatever happens. That is once again male privilege. It allows men to shirk responsibility off on someone else for the consequences of their own behavior and it’s bullshit. Here’s the rub — if men cannot control or be held responsible for their OWN sexual behavior, then they certainly have NO business trying to control or be “responsible” for women or what women do or don’t do with their own bodies. In other words guys: GROW UP or SHUT UP and mind your own goddamned business. Some things are NOT your decision to make. Mind your own junk and keep your nose out of hers. And if you don’t want to do that, then know that your choice in these matter is VERY limited.
Your choice (your “say”) about this reproductive health care debate for women debate resides somewhere around your pants zipper. If you decide you can’t keep it zipped up and you decide to give your little swimmers to someone else – to put them inside someone else’s body then guess what? THEY’RE NOT YOURS ANYMORE. They’re HERS. You gave them away. And once you give them away, you have nothing to say about what happens to them anymore. Stuff might be done to them that you don’t like. And there’s nothing you can do about that. Because you can’t control someone else’s behavior. And if you don’t like THAT idea — then DO. NOT. give them away. Keep them to YOURSELF. It’s quite simple really. That little circle down there is the entire scope of YOUR control in this whole thing. You CAN control yourselves. You SHOULD control yourselves. And if you cannot control yourselves, then you certainly have NO. BUSINESS. trying to control WOMEN or their reproductive choices. Anywhere. At any time. Under any circumstance. For any reason.
Because that is SLAVERY.

White and male: exempt. From everything. Pretty much no matter what. Case in point: Donald J. Trump. Donald can SAY anything, DO anything. No matter how unethical, immoral, illegal. Doesn’t matter. He’s serially assaulted multiple women, violated the constitution from the moment he was sworn in, ignored ethics rules that NO one else could get away with ignoring (even past Republican Presidents), and he has numerous worldwide ties to international criminal elements and the Russian mafia. And yet for the white heterosexual men in our World: HE’S. THEIR. MAN. And he had the audacity to point at Hillary Clinton and call HER “crooked“.
Hillary Clinton could never DREAM of being as corrupt as Donald is and has been his entire life. But…she’s not male. So different rules apply to HER. This is the epitome of not only massive psychological projection but also of white male privilege. Right in everyone’s face. And this folks, is how it works. We’re living it large, now.
So let’s talk about those poor white guys who “can’t control themselves” and “who have needs” when it comes to women and sex. I have one thing to say to them: GROW. UP.
I’ll repeat this again for anyone who didn’t get it the first time. Especially you guys: YOU HAVE COMPLETE CONTROL over ONE person’s behavior on this planet: YOURS. No one else’s. YOURS. Under any circumstances, at any time, for any reason, no matter what anyone else is doing or what the situation is: YOU are the only person whose behavior you have any control over.
Note that at any time when that is or was not the case, then we’re talking about assault, imprisonment, torture, or slavery or other human rights abuses. If another human being’s self-determination, their ‘agency’ is taken from them, if they are physically being controlled by another, they are enslaved, being assaulted, or are being possessed as property.
This is why WOMEN do not belong to men to control. And this is why any man with an ounce of morality or ethics would not dream of trying to control another person by passing laws to keep that person from exercising their own full human rights ie: the right to control her own body.
For the privileged white men who might be reading this: Women are not chattel. Likewise, women are not your PROPERTY. Women are not your toys. Women are not your male service units. Women are not your eye candy or your decorations Women are not your entertainment. Women are not your goddamned incubators. They are HUMAN.
And you may not like it, but they have a full set of HUMAN rights. And you know what female humans do sometimes? They have CONSENSUAL SEX. And they don’t deserve to be PUNISHED for that with unwanted pregnancies or blamed because some jackass decided to assault them. They don’t deserve that anymore than YOU do, guys. That’s part of what all this bullshit is about as well: punishing women for being HUMAN. How DARE they have consensual sex. How dare they even want consensual sex! Men (especially white ones) are encouraged to go out and screw anything that moves. Consequence free! We exempt these men from responsibility for any and all behavioral control. And we exempt them from the consequences of their behavior. Funny how that works, isn’t it? THIS is what tells us that these men who support Donald Trump simply do not consider women HUMAN. It’s the crux of every one of these reproductive healthcare debates. And it is part of the mantle of white male privilege.
I’ll say it again: White men don’t have to be on their best behavior 100% of the time to be simply be considered HUMAN. But women do. And black people do. EVEN when their behavior is not criminal at all and is simply human. If a woman ever had sex in her life for instance – If she uses contraception – If she isn’t a Madonna and doesn’t dress like a nun, then when or if she ever becomes a victim of violent assault or has an unwanted pregnancy — it’s HER fault. SHE is the guilty defendant. SHE has to prove HER innocence. THAT is her punishment. For merely being HUMAN. The guy who perpetrated the crime or helped get her pregnant isn’t even in the picture.
THIS is white male privilege. It’s women being shackled with a lesser set of human rights and on top of that, being blamed and punished for someone else’s behavior, whom she had absolutely no control over — because controlling the behavior of another person is not possible (unless we’re talking about imprisonment, slavery, torture, assault or human rights abuses).
Speaking of controlling behavior though: Nobody’s buying this bullshit about men being unable to control themselves sexually or having some special “needs”. Men can control themselves sexually. And they should.
Republicans are all about “personal responsibility”. Well then they should goddamned HAVE some. It’s not anyone else’s responsibility to control male sexual behavior other than men themselves. It’s not up to women to be abstinent or to behave themselves FOR men and if women do not do so, then we blame women exclusively for whatever happens. That is once again male privilege. It allows men to shirk responsibility off on someone else for the consequences of their own behavior and it’s bullshit. Here’s the rub — if men cannot control or be held responsible for their OWN sexual behavior, then they certainly have NO business trying to control or be “responsible” for women or what women do or don’t do with their own bodies. In other words guys: GROW UP or SHUT UP and mind your own goddamned business. Some things are NOT your decision to make. Mind your own junk and keep your nose out of hers. And if you don’t want to do that, then know that your choice in these matter is VERY limited.
Your choice (your “say”) about this reproductive health care debate for women debate resides somewhere around your pants zipper. If you decide you can’t keep it zipped up and you decide to give your little swimmers to someone else – to put them inside someone else’s body then guess what? THEY’RE NOT YOURS ANYMORE. They’re HERS. You gave them away. And once you give them away, you have nothing to say about what happens to them anymore. Stuff might be done to them that you don’t like. And there’s nothing you can do about that. Because you can’t control someone else’s behavior. And if you don’t like THAT idea — then DO. NOT. give them away. Keep them to YOURSELF. It’s quite simple really. That little circle down there is the entire scope of YOUR control in this whole thing. You CAN control yourselves. You SHOULD control yourselves. And if you cannot control yourselves, then you certainly have NO. BUSINESS. trying to control WOMEN or their reproductive choices. Anywhere. At any time. Under any circumstance. For any reason.
Because that is SLAVERY.
So yea guys. GROW. UP. And live with it.
Look, you can’t stop abortion. You can only cause more women to die from unsafe ones. You can’t stop contraception. If you don’t want to pay for any of this then you can instead pay the much MUCH higher cost of millions of unwanted, unplanned babies being born.
You might want to talk to your male friends about controlling themselves better or abstaining from sex — but it won’t help much because you see, SEX is what HUMANS do. And women too, are HUMAN. So the only answer is … guess what? CONTRACEPTION and abortion. And nothing….VIRTUALLY NOTHING YOU DO will change that.
Guys, you may think that you don’t need to GROW UP because — just look at how far your white supremacist, womanizing, rapist friend Donald J. Trump got by being a racist, sexist pig. I know you want to be JUST like him because he’s your White Supremacist, White Male Privilege Idol. He’s the living epitome of everything you want your World to be.
But just remember this: Time only moves in ONE direction. And just like dirty fossil fuels, and those manufacturing jobs your smirking Agent Orange (Trump) promised you (that will never actually materialize), your glory days are OVER.
