The Presidents erratic behaviour, including repeated failure to distinguish between reality and fantasy and paranoid claims of conspiracy, cast doubt over his ability to react rationally in a crisis, they said.
In a letter to the New York Times, Judith Herman, a professor of psychiatry at Harvard Medical School, and Robert Lifton, a lecturer in psychiatry at Columbia University, said they were not attempting to diagnose Mr Trump.
We are in no way offering a psychiatric diagnosis, which would be unwise to attempt from a distance," they wrote.

(31,109 posts)Paul Ryan dream is for fuckface to leave office somehow and Pence to take over.
Then Pence will pretend to be the adult while taking our Social Security and Medicare.
Remember, though fuckface lies every single time he talks, he did say he would protect them.
I dont believe him but what I am more sure of is what Pence and Ryan would do.

(17,276 posts)All of us who are watching without being under the "spell" can see it. The press sees it. The Democrats see it, and an increasing number of Republicans on the hill see it. Spicer sees it! You can tell by the look in his eyes.
The ones who aren't watching closely enough still don't see it. They trust him and say, "give him a chance". I think it's going to take some kind of "Katrina" moment to open up their eyes.
Even if they find him huddled in a corner mumbling to himself, they in the White House would no doubt cover it all up. It has to be something public, something unequivocal. And I don't see how it doesn't happen sooner or later. It has to be more than tweets or statements; it has to be some kind of irrational action he gets caught doing.
