A few days ago I reported the worrying trend that Trump’s Daily Gallup Tracking Poll had been improving for about a week and a half. I am pleased to say that in the three days since then, this trend has reversed itself and his numbers have been worsening—approval rate tumbling, disapproval rate rising. It’s now a 12-point spread: in three days the gap has doubled, from 44/50 to 41/53.

Just a guess, but I’d say if his disapproval rate ever crests 60 percent, the Repug’s might start paying attention.

1. The speech last week helped him

But then the ridiculousness of the Tweets last weekend started the downward trend. Let's hop the Healthcare bullshit gets him into the 30s again. Yes they will start taking notice when he starts hanging in the 30s.

Even Rasmussen now for 2 days has him in the negative.

2. The Steele Dossier is the watershed piece of evidence, IMO.

As more and more of its pieces are corroborated, and as we'll hear from Mr. Steele himself through his testimony, we'll watch with both sadness and glee as Trumpy and his Russia Platoon start circling the drain.

3. This healthcare boondoggle won't win him any points.

As the questions continue to mount with the steady drip of Russian puzzle pieces accumulate, the doubts and suspicions swirling around Trump will increase. Then there's both the ME and No. Korea that have the potential to showcase Trump's dangerous incompetence in the face of a real threat.
