After watching all of the political posturing today on the healthcare bill,

I'm convinced of two things:

1. They know Golden-Gate is closing in on them, and they need to jam something thru.

More importantly,

2. They know there isn't a snowball's chance of passage, but they are giving each other cover so they can say they tried, and then they can go back home and campaign on it.

all damn day. They can't even change it up a little bit? I can't watch this any longer. Why aren't these liars being called out even a little bit by the media?

2. That's what I want to know. Or why doesn't someone say "That's what the ACA debate was ALL about?".

Because it was. The only better than the ACA would be single-payer. Besides that, Ryan is a Rand devotee. Why doesn't anyone call them on that?

and will let them get away with that, will they? Don't answer that.

The good news is that there are at least 3 different factions fighting in the GOP House (Paul Ryan's, Rand Paul's Libertarian wing, the Tea Party/Freedom Fighters faction) and they will readily be willingly throwing one another under the bus when the bill fails in the House. Should it make it it though the House it will fail in the Senate because the Senators aren't as bulletproof as the House members are in their gerrymandered districts.
