Treason and Sedition. The destruction of our Government from within. Putin and his Cronies must be jubilant at this prospect. Trump is Putin's useful idiot. Tillerson is an oil junkie and Putin Stooge. Try them for Treason. Traitors! Rachael Maddow is doing the best reporting on this stuff. Her broadcasts need to be disseminated far and wide. It is comparable to what Hitler did with Russia during WWII. Hitler passed to Stalin that the Russia officer corp was disloyal to Stalin. Stalin did what he did - he purged the Russian officer corp and subsequently when Germany attacked Russia - there was limited resistance (of a professional nature) because the officers of Russia were relatively new....

Trump is purging our professionals - therefore we will be deaf, dumb, and blind in foreign affairs - and the Russians will eat Europe. Trump will act surprised blame someone else (probably Hillary).

I suspect that Trumpy and Putin haven't done the long game on this... me suspects that if Russia tries to 'eat' Europe due to the vacuum created by Trump destroying our State Department - the world will see WWIII.

Thanks for the historical context. Well stated. We will be "deaf, dumb, and blind in foreign affairs". This Trump Regime is pulling a lot of plays out of the Fascist Playbook. Tearing down the Press is key also. Tillerson at the State Department seems to be attempting a "Press Blackout". Fascist tactics. Gutting the State Department is Treason. Trump and his Crew need to be Impeached.

8. I agree, but I think Putin did not expect the whole thing to come crashing down

So soon. He hasn't gotten the sanctions lifted, and I think he wanted some new nukes. He was looking forward to a visit to the WH, so he could sit behind the desk in the Oval Office and bask in his success at defeating his foe Hillary and taking over the highest office of our government. He did not figure on dealing with such a bunch of inept, idiots.

Too many people are eager and willing to follow the ravings of a madman.
My guess is that the long game is for Trump to turn the US Military into Putin's tool. He knows we are stronger and the only thing that stood in his way to world domination besides China. The plan is to use us to fight China as his tool and Trump gets money for it.
We are a nation with traitors taking control and our elected leaders too cowardly to say anything about it.
