Canadas Supreme Court Just Gave Trump AWFUL News

http://occupydemocrats.com/2017/03/09/canadas-supreme-court-just-gave-trump-awful-news/

>"On Thursday morning, investors in the Trump International Hotel and Tower in downtown Toronto got the go-ahead from the Canadian Supreme Court to sue Trump and his real estate developer partners for misleading them about the returns they would get from their property investment. Two investors brought a case saying that they were sold units in the development under false pretenses and were misled about the potential profits. Promised returns of 7% to 20%, they instead wound up with losses of $1.2 million after the business at the hotel failed to live up to expectations.

Last October, the Ontario Court of Appeal ruled in favor of the investors, ordering that the sale of the unit must be rescinded for one plaintiff and damages must be paid to the other for “negligent misrepresentation.”<

Before long the name will be sandblasted off all the buildings.

Per the CBC/Radio-Canada:

Neither Trump nor his companies have any ownership stake in the building. Talon licensed the Trump brand and hired the Trump Organization to manage the hotel property.

He's been sued on this type of situation before by investors in other branded buildings that went south claiming that they were led to believe that the properties were owned by him. CNN has an article about this scenario for another project, in which the investors lost in court:

Buying a Trump? Better read the fine print

I'll doubt he'll lose much sleep over this.

8. But this is Canada, not US -- apparently they agree with investors.

Or maybe they think that they're close enough friends of the family that they will share in the spoils.

by and against him. Even as he settled a few of the most politically damaging after Nov. 9, more were being filed. He literally continued to cheat people while he was running for president.

This is just business as usual for our swindler-in-chief.

were telling the truth. Not that those'd frame it that way.

He's such a corrupt sleaze, and a gross, creepy, intensely vulgar one to boot. For decades I've been curious about what kind of people choose to purchase or lease anything with his name on it. Yuck.

been in sales way to long...you dream about getting the one sale that could make your year.
Outfitting a trump facility could seem like one of those sales...you take a chance...your company takes a chance.
i work in telecom....they guy who sells the system that includes the central system and all those handset...including the cabling....would in theory get a very nice commission check...a very nice commission check...as long as the account pays.

so you roll the dice.....surely with all the publicity and now that he is president the leopard will change his spots you think......

seems not

I'm absolutely we're witnessing a president with a serious personality disorder. This is lifelong behavior for him.

He'd be far, far wealthier if he could have. In fact, given the enormous wealth build-up over the past few decades, economists say he'd be far wealthier if he'd just invested his dad's money in funds managed by others.
