It was all on display.
All the misogynistic, hateful, crude, vulgar, arrogant, narcissistic qualities of a Grade A asshole.
They knew he liked to grab women by their private parts. They knew he was crude and vulgar.
Yet, they voted for him. Did they expect him to be different once he was the President? Did they truly think he would change?
They were told over and over, if someone shows you who they are, believe them.
When you vote for a criminal, you will get a criminal.
But, let's not play games. If you voted for this asshole, step up and take responsibility.
I am 100% sure there are many that are in absolute denial. But that doesn't change the facts.

Though I am extremely angry and disappointed at those who voted third party, I believe those voters at least have the self-realization to realize the disaster trump is, those who voted for trump don't regret it, because their motives were either based on hate, or putting their political party before the destruction of America

(46,067 posts)of their irrational hate for Hillary, for liberals, for democrats, for immigrants, for African-Americans, for Muslims, for Palestinians, etc.
I offer one prime example:
I have a longtime friend who lives on an illegal settlement in Israel. He knows about the spate of anti-Semitism here in the States and he still supports Trump because Trump strongly supports Israel, and therefore his home in the illegal settlement. I can understand his mercenary interests without agreeing with them. I do call out the hypocrisy as an attack on a Jew anywhere is unacceptable and his compartmentalism is part of the problem. He hated Obama and by extension, Hillary. He tells me that I'm "lucky" that he considers me his friend, otherwise I would be worthy of his contempt for "snowflakes".

I have some in my FB collective who hate liberals & democrats - hate them. They are gleeful that liberals are concerned/frightened about Trump. I suspect they listen to hate radio, because liberal is just a code word for all the minorities that they hate, but know that it isn't PC to say that. However, there's no issue with saying you hate liberals and democrats.
I told my cousin, who is one of them, "I'm a liberal." He said, "But not one of those kind." I said, "Yes, one of those kind. A far-left, bleeding-heart liberal. Do you hate me?" He changed the subject. My mom used to say that you shouldn't let politics get in the way of a relationship, but I don't share their view of the world at all & in fact, I think it causes a lot of harm.

If they said, "yes, he'll be around for 4 years". That would be the last time I saw either of them.
