Trumps St. Patricks Day Hat Got Flak for Its Design. Now Its Gone From the Website

Donald Trump’s green “Make America Great Again” hats prepared for Saint Patrick’s Day, which caught flack for featuring a four-leaf clover instead of a shamrock, were nowhere to be found on his joint fundraising committee website on Wednesday.

A link to the section that previously showcased the hats leads to a page with the following message: “We’re sorry, but the page you’re looking for could not be found. Go back to our homepage and check out some of our favourite items!: The url for that page, however, is still labeled “official-make-america-great-again-green-hat.”

The special-edition hats were green to mark Saint Patrick’s day, and had a four-leaf clover on the back. The internet quickly pounced on the design though, noting that the four-leaf clover isn’t an Irish symbol. It’s actually the shamrock, which has three leafs.
