I think it was brilliant of this artist to put his quotes to these images. It makes them that much more powerfully repugnant.

Beautiful composition and originality for the 50s. I bet the photographer becomes a big name later on.
Also the quote for that picture makes no sense because it's an advertisement for toothpaste but emphasizes that the face of the woman is unnecessary. I'm not sure if that one was originally misogynistic too but it's pretty tame compared to the others. The only thing I see that's potentially problematic is the "your husband shower you with orchids" line. But that could be overlooked if it were in a magazine with a primary demographic of married women or what have you.
Ah, but this is just the artist/ad marketer in me talking.
