Does anyone know the deal with Mattis and Syria/Iraq/Kuwait?
Mattis did not recommend troops on the ground a month ago. Now we have troops (excuse me, "advisors"
on the ground. If tRump's strategy is to get us firmly involved so that congress must declare war, I would think Mattis would step in and condemn it. I haven't seen any comment from Mattis recently, so I don't know if he has turned to the dark side yet. Is sending troops a trial balloon to see how American's respond, or it is setting the stage for something bigger?
