(90,758 posts)Their wrong is in listening to him and other right-wingers when they could have simply informed themselves. But it was just easier to let Fox tell them what to believe, and to allow their own prejudices and biases to influence their thinking.
Yes, Trump took advantage of desperate people and that is horribly wrong. He sold them a lie and a false hope.
But those people have to start listening without prejudice getting in their way.
Only they don't want to hear how their own biases work against them and cause them to vote against their best interests.
One guy in an article told himself it's OK to repeal Obamacare though he was benefiting from it because Trump was bringing back jobs, so he could buy his own insurance. This man was a former coal miner. Trump can't magically make coal jobs come back and a little reading on the man's part would have told him that. Another thing was, the man had numerous health problems, the kind of health problems that prevent steady employment - if he got hired at all.
There's a disconnect there that I can't explain.
