ALPINE, N.J. The White House is offering yet another wrinkle in its attempt to support President Trumps allegation unfounded, so far that his campaign headquarters in Manhattan was wiretapped by the Obama administration. The latest comes from Trumps senior counselor Kellyanne Conway.
She says the surveillance may be broader than even Trump suggested.
In a wide-ranging interview Sunday at her home in Alpine, where she lives with her husband a possible nominee for U.S. solicitor general and their four children, Conway, who managed Trumps presidential campaign before taking the job as one of the president's closest advisers, suggested that the alleged monitoring of activities at Trumps campaign headquarters at Trump Tower in Manhattan may have involved far more than wiretapping.
What I can say is there are many ways to surveil each other, Conway said as the Trump presidency marked its 50th day in office during the weekend. You can surveil someone through their phones, certainly through their television sets any number of ways.
Conway went on to say that the monitoring could be done with microwaves that turn into cameras, adding: We know this is a fact of modern life.

(50,528 posts)When I worked for Army Intelligence, we did a research project on the possibility of microwave emanations from a microwave oven penetrating the human skull to extract information from the skull owner's brain, and discovered that it's completely possible. We also studied ways to prevent this from happening.
We found the most effective method was to use low-density polyethylene sheeting of at least 1.0 mil thickness. This material is cheaply and readily available because it's what grocery store-quality garbage bags are made of.
To ensure complete protection from enemy surveillance, simply stick your head in a garbage bag and secure it to your neck with duct tape, ensuring the tape goes all the way around in a continuous band. For maximum protection the bag must not be punctured.

But I'm certain that's not what she was talking about, and saying that they turn into cameras would make no sense at all.
