From what I've heard it sounds like down there will get hit with the worst of it.

We're getting a visit from WS Stella too but they're predicting only 6 - 10" of the heavy white crud for up here on the border of Canada in northern NY.

And so far it's been a very, very, unusually mild winter. In February we had, on a few days near 80* Oh yeah, there's nothing going on here, folks. Nothing to see here. All just a hoax perpetrated by the Chinease!🤡🤡🙃

pretty close to the snow/rain/freezing rain line. If we get anything I hope it's all snow, or all rain. No freezing rain, please!😳😕😪

Depending on the track. Already called the people who blew my driveway out last year after the blizzard.

Hubby and I dreamed of buying a coffee farm in Jamaica some years ago. It was SOOOOO beautiful. I've wanted to smack myself in the face every winter since then. Spring and fall too.

At this point I'd settle for a hut near the water. Maybe someday.

During a time of year when the weather usually sucks, it is near 60° F and sunny.

Totally nuts, but for once, I do NOT envy you folks back home

Minnesota yesterday night. I'm about to go out and remove 3" of snow here in St. Paul. It will join up with a storm from the South as it hits the east coast, which will add lots and lots of moisture to produce even more snow.

Sorry, Northeast.

He's supposed to be in Central Florida on the 20th with his wife and infant son to visit his grandmother (my Mom) and introduce her to her first great grandchild.

I'm not sure when they are planning to leave Boston but I'm concerned that flight delays and cancellations will mess up their trip.

I only know the one day they will be at Mom's because I was already planning to be there on the 21st for Mom's 96th birthday and moved up the day we will be driving down so I could see my newest great nephew.

Thanks for the reassurance!

up to 40 mph winds in afternoon Tuesday. Nothing we haven't seen before though. Sucks the kids will have another snow day though. They'll be going to school past June 20th this year, which is pretty late. I'm hoping there isn't any more snow days after this one.

On the bright side, gives me an opportunity to go cross country skiing again maybe this weekend or the next. Practically all of our snow is gone right now.

However, all of the counties west and south of Genesee County are still under advisories for 2-5". I guess we will just wait to see if that weather to our west dwindles before it reaches us.

It has been a strange winter, that's for sure. Barely any snow, and temperatures swinging from double digit below zero, all the way to temps nearly reaching 70. I still had garden flowers blooming in November!

I'm am ready for Spring, and it arrives a week from today!

After having a taste of spring, I just want it to be here already. We are expecting 12" to 18" inches here in Boston. I am hoping to wfh tomorrow, but we'll see. I don't have a long commute, but I just hate being out when it's storming.
