Republicans are about to wave a magic wand and declare everybody healthy. That is their new
health care act. Everybody gets a magic wand. Got a suspicious growth ? Wave a magic wand and poof, you are cured. Break a leg? Wack it with yer magic wand, bazingga, it's healed. Need a colonoscopy? Stick yer magic wand.....well you get the idea. It's too bad they don't make a magic wand that will cure politicians of lying.
Clearly reality has no place in health care, it's all spooky stuff nobody understands anyway, right?
It's odd that they think requiring people to have health insurance is a bad thing, as is required under "Obamacare". By their arguement the government has no business requiring people to by insurance, right? So we will see an equal effort to repeal car insurance requirements also?
Paul "Ayn Rand" Ryan says Trump/Ryancare is all about freedom. Freedom to let your children be sick, or better yet, let them die. Freedom to let that cancer rage in your body. Feel your heart fail slowly, your breath come in shallow gasps. Just don't do any of this where rich people can see it. That would be totally uncouth.
After watching Ryan's behavior over the last while it occurs to me that us progressive liberal dems are looking at this all wrong. If we would just see the secret code, the magic wand so to speak, for what it really is all would be well. It's about brown people.
If they could figure out a way to insure Caucasian people and exclude those pesky brown folk, why we would have single payer in a (pun intended) heart beat. Abortions would be legal, even recommended, if they could restrict them to those same pesky off colored folks. This is the republicans real dilemma, eugenics. Eugenics and how to institute policies based on those ideas without being caught out doing it.
Trump/Ryancare is a start. Freedom for poor (read brownish) people to hurry up and die.
