....A story my oldest brother told me back when he worked in an upscale steakhouse -

They had a steak come back too overcooked for the customer so they had to fire a new piece of meat. So as a goof, they took the returned piece and at every opportunity, for the rest of the night, they put it in the microwave and nuked it.

If another piece had to be nuked, they would pull out the "experiment", nuke the customer piece but then continue nuking the other one.
