If I accuse you of stealing my lunch money and file a formal complaint . . . .

. . . . and you never even came near said lunch money, and that becomes known as a fact, I can be charged with filing a false report.

What happens when the WH press secretary, the straw haired WH harpie, various and sundry talking heads, and the president himself file a false claim to the nation and demands the government investigate it?

have to be able to prove it caused you harm be it financial or gets you fired.
