http://www.telegraph.co.uk/travel/destinations/europe/italy/articles/painting-by-adolf-hitler-features-in-new-art-exhibition/A museum in northern Italy has unveiled an oil painting by Adolf Hitler as part of an exhibition exploring the link between art and madness.
The deceased dictators work has been described as a piece of s*** by the acerbic art critic Vittorio Sgarbi, who curated the exhibition at Museo Di Salo in Lombardy.
Hitlers oil painting, which is on loan from a private German collector, has never been exhibited before.
Its a piece of s*** aesthetically, Sgarbi told Italian news agency, ANSA. [It] says a lot about his psyche: there is no grandeur here, only misery.

It's really sad he didn't get to go to art school; he might have been too busy for politics...

His renditions were said to reflect no life.

He got rejected from the Vienna School of Fine Arts because he was so bad at people. Everything i've ever seen on those docs is buildings and landscapes.

It's not the one I saw in the documentary. That was more of an 18th century military figure.

...if he could have posed as a brooding post-WW I artist wondering why his crap was not selling.

(37,457 posts)8. supposedly the Vienna art school recommended politics for him
Twice he was snubbed by the Vienna Academy of Fine Arts, which encouraged him to abandon art and pursue a career in politics instead and we all know how that ended.

I sincerely wish you would have given him a break, he wasn't that bad.
