So where's Perez? Thought we were gonna be smarter, more media

savvy. Huh.

Republicans can not defend millions being cut out of healthcare other than
saying the report is bogus.

Why aren't we coming up with a unified, simple, repeatable message that all
Dems use? Millions cut next year.

Same old same old.

https://www.google.com/amp/thehill.com/business-a-lobbying/323777-perez-targets-gop-health-care-plan-after-report-shows-drop-in-coverage%3Famp

His message seems unified, simple and repeatable, to use your criteria:
..."Democratic National Committee Chairman Tom Perez blasted President Trump for failing to deliver on his promise of "insurance for everyone" after a new nonpartisan report showed more than 20 million people losing insurance under the House GOP's proposed healthcare plan.

The new report from the Congressional Budget Office found that 14 million people would lose health insurance under the new play next year, with a total of 24 million losing their coverage by 2026. Perez pointed to those numbers as he accused Republicans of ignoring the true repercussions of the bill.

"Donald Trump's 'insurance for everybody' pledge was a big fat lie ... the plan slashes Medicaid, drives up the cost of care for older Americans, and defunds life-saving services provided by Planned Parenthood. The only winners here are Trump, and the corporations and rich people who get to pocket new tax breaks," he said in a statement after the CBO report's Monday afternoon release.

"Of course, instead of admitting that the bill would leave millions without health insurance, Republicans are desperately trying to discredit the CBO with more 'alternative facts.' The American people are smarter than that."

Good people, like Perez, say good things. But, what we needed was someone who can orchestrate for us to have one unified voice - simple message - that everyone can spread across the country and media that sticks.

we have to have a unified message. In a media bombardment environment. The masses can only grasp two or three key words and they have to be restated over and over and over by everyone. Even evil despot crazy Trump's got that down.

The first video was primarily about them planning to make the videos, so we'll have to wait and see if the next video has more substance.

Nevertheless, I agree that there needs to be a strong message and that ALL of Dem leadership needs to be out there everywhere hammering it hard.

thrown around here? They are hitting rural areas and states where we (supposedly) lost. Their platform is based on fifty-state strategy. That won't happen overnight ffs.

They have a strong message and it will hit hard. And they will hit Republicans with it not each other. Excellent examples for leaders to make after years of this divisiveness from the alt-lefters who embraced and drowned us in Russian propaganda and false equivalencies this election season. Carrying KGOP water with the emails, Benghazi and speeches bullshit.

These are real Democrats, not spoilers invested in tearing us down.

It's not even two months into Dumpty's term and everyone wants it fixed yesterday. Sorry, real life doesn't happen in 60 second sound bytes. Put on some grown up shoes and stand with them, not against them!

As long as the perfect is the enemy of the good we lose.

End of.

Unity tour - absolutely great.

But this is a golden opportunity for some modern, up-to-date mass marketing of our ideals. No wonder you even have to go on a tour. We have been silent about what we believe in for way too long. And if we can learn anything from the Trump fiasco - we can learn one thing....People can only absorb short and poignant messages because they are bombarded with information. This is our golden opportunity - given the travesty of their budget - to speak out to millions all at once.
