Ignorance fearcowardesssavagery: what we are seeing is just the beginning.
Not only do the republicans plan on ending all social safety nets, they also plan on altering our constitution through the slight of hand which will be a States constitutional convention. They will say that it is to strengthen what is already craved in constitutional granite, but what they have in mind is very much different than what they are saying.
Once a constitutional convention is in session there is no limit or control on what they can do. They can add amendments, they can subtract amendments. They could invalidate the entire amendments to the constitution. The bill of rights can and will be toast, gone, never to be rehabilitated. Once the damage is done it will unrecoverable.
The whole idea will be to end individual rights. Corporations, politicians and religious organizations fully intend to implant themselves as the prime rulers of our society. This move to call a constitutional convention is the most dangerous element of reengineering in our history. The extremists, nationalists and haters of all things free and beyond their control will have a hay day rewriting your future to suit their beliefs and pockets.
Republicans are just the vehicle in which this assault on our republic is occurring. Never doubt that the wealthy, corporations and religious extremists are at the wheel of this travesty. If you think Sharia Law is something to avoid yer gonna get a kick out of Real Christian Law and Corporations Rule.
