Get your Rachel fix via her podcast. Both video and audio only versions are available. Just point your podcast aggregator towards "Rachel Maddow" and subscribe. The audio only podcast is only a 10MB download, easy with limited download, even an iPhone. With Rachel's descriptions, that's all one needs. The video podcast would be quite a bit bigger, but if you have the bandwidth and download, go for it.

They are posted sometime after her 9PM ET program finishes, usually by 11PM ET. (It varies.)

It's been long known that some Trump tax returns are in the public record as a result of the many lawsuits he's brougt/had brought against him. I doubt they're very recent vintage, but if she got all the forms there will still be a lot that can be learned. More important, there will be names of other business entities, charitiable giving, etc. Even if it's older information, that's somewhere for the reporters, esp the financial reporters, to start digging.

of which there are likely many filed each year, in order to look for evidence/disclosure of significant foreign investments. And even then, it would have to hit foreign ownership of 20+% of the voting stock in a specific corporation to require disclosure. Such info would not show up in his 1040 personal return, AFAIK.

My guess as to why he wouldn't release his 1040 is still that it would show something that would embarrass him related to the extent of his earnings.

In fact, it will be enough for the Republican-controlled Congress to impeach not only Trump but also Pence, and invent some process not in the Constitution to re-run the election, so Hillary can become president and the Democrats can retake the Senate, at the very least.



Let's face facts: the time for those tax returns to save us from Trump was before last November. For the next four years, no revelations can change that. The only way Trump will be removed as president is if and when Republicans decide they and their agenda can do better without him than with him…and that means, at best, President Pence.
