Anyone here pay your mortgage to Ditech? The karma train is coming to them.

We are one of those whose mortgage payment went from Countrywide to Bank of America to Green Tree to Ditech.

Green Tree was owned by Ditech which is owned by Walter Investment Corp.
Ditech and Green both had a long history of ripping people off, which can be easily seen by an casual Google search,
and they esp. had difficulty complying with the new mortgage laws after the 2008 crash.
Green Tree apparently is no more, which is why we are with Ditech. I had my suspicions that may have been a serious financial issue.

So now, comes a class action lawsuit against Walter Investment because the company ( which includes Ditech) has been losing money, posted a $529 million loss in 2016, was down drastically every quarter, plus is being investigated by HUD which may cost considerable money for the firm. ( hopefully HUD continues the investigation)

So, there is a law firm suing Walter/Ditech for loss of investor value, which is how I tracked all this down.

They are also suing Netflix for investor value losses.

For all the people who were foreclosed illegally, I hope this brings some small comfort in that maybe the bad guys don't get away scot-free .
