so it's unlikely he would. In any case, O is getting the best revenge: $60 million books deals and standing ovations when he dines out in a restaurant.

President has executive privilege. The only remedy is impeachment. I'm pretty certain of that.

Pretty sure Trump can be sued in a civil lawsuit and this would seem to fall under the category of defamation.

Paula Jones was allowed to sue because Clinton's alleged actions were done before assuming office.

But this article also says executive privilege immunity requires the president to be acting in his capacity as president. Drumpf tweeted it on a weekend morning doing God knows what at the time.

Obama would have to prove Trump knew the statement was false. It's a very high barrier.
