(111,245 posts)It keeps happening in both parties. Both promise change and both appoint Golden Sacks to screw up the economy for working people.
I just wonder what they're threatened with if they don't toe the line.

We knew what Dolt45 would be like.
Morons said he was so rich there was no way they could force him to do anything he didn't want to do. It looks like they did, which is why I'd love to know what he was threatened with if he didn't play ball with Goldman Sachs.

He might not be rich at all.
He may owe more than he's got.

(111,245 posts)He's always had a surfeit of bluster and a distinct lack of everything else. I understand Deutsche Bank guestimated his total worth at $400 million or so, certainly more than enough for most plutocrats but a far cry from the $10 billion he's boasted.
And he doesn't have most of what he "owns," his name remaining on properties he's had to sell or auction years ago.

(10,893 posts)...is that historically when a certain party is in power, things have gone in the toilet for everyone except the rich, while under the opposite major party, things have improved for everyone and there are more jobs, higher wages, and the rights of women and people of color are better protected. People can insinuate that it's all some scheme and that they're both the same, but the evidence shows otherwise.

(111,245 posts)administration after administration? It bothers the hell out of me and that's what I'm trying to put out there, not false equivalency between two very different political parties.
And y'all know it.

(111,245 posts)but hasn't it occurred to you that Summers et al got in the way of that?
I'm not trashing Obama or Hillary or any other Democrat. I'm just wondering about why Goldman Sachs people are put in charge of the economy. After all, they're not our friends, even if Democratic candidates and presidents are.

Hasn't evolved. Says the same damned thing like a broken record.
I'm finally coming onboard with him being a Russian asset all along. He was Phase1. Comey was Phase2. All leading to The Doltish One.
