I think a lot depends on the people.

In 2000 the Republicans even had a fake mob of operatives pretending to be local voters shutting down recounts.

Democrats were less prepared then. It is different now.

But that suggestion gave me a flashback that made me laugh. I am a Navy vet, and there was a rumor that the letters in NAVY are actually an acronym for Never Again Volunteer Yourself'.
