In Florida we do our IRS taxes at the library for free, thanks to AARP. This year the computers won't allow us to do that due to constant glitches. They say it is because the the government has a new program that is shit. Apparently the online programs also don't support, according to our IRS reps.
What is going on???

(49,445 posts)I submitted them electronically on the 21st, just got my refund today via direct deposit.
It's sort of a basic design, but I was able to figure it out. Didn't have any issues outside of a poor layout.

(1,606 posts)Did turbotax efiling 1/31 got fed refund few days later, MN dragged its feet and took until yesterday to get the refund (usually MN is quicker than federal for refund time)
Hope everyone gets their refunds ASAP, I know it is a PAIN to wait so long.

(86,536 posts)at an AARP "taxday" event at the senior center, they do it twice a week right now... didn't have any problems Never filed electronically before so I got help. I hope the check shows up soon, I'm broke.

(12,377 posts)Must be a local problem. They have had to send everyone home two weeks in a row due to the glitches. Glad it's not nation wide!!

(790 posts)Anyone who filed early & received Earned income Credit or Child Tax credit had their refund held. Putin Publicans made it put in the tax bill.
