I heard a comment on a podcast I listen to sometimes that if anyone moves on Trump before absolutely ready to provide am air-tight case against him, and Trump deflects it, then taking another shot at him would be almost impossible.

If you're going to shoot the king, you better kill him (of course a metaphor, I would never suggest using violence against the president). All it means is, you wont get a second chance to take him down.

Although just speculation about their reactions, it is a fact millions of us have been prematurely aged during the campaign and especially since election as the nightmare has unfolded.
