How many more hundreds of miles can the media get out of facilitating debates on Trump's wiretap tweet? Trump said "wiretap", not surveillance, not maybe something happened, not check in with me in two weeks and I'll let you know. Trump accused President Obama of a felony, called him names, yet Republicans are trying to morph that into a giant....maybe SOMETHING happened....hoping that will buy them time, wiggle room, or a place to hide until the next asinine tweet.
The majority of our country's great, patriotic, America-First, flag pin wearing, Republican leaders simply can not bring themselves to stand straight and speak the truth about Donald Trump's dangerous lies. Some are even talking about how Trump used quotation marks, so maybe he didn't tweet what he really tweeted. Cable news panels almost always highlight some Trump surrogate temporarily laying down their crap shovel so they can have two hands for air quotes around that word, wiretap, AKA, "wiretap", kind of like when my grandson plays his air guitar.
Can we please stop this nonsense? And speaking of tap, can we stop tap dancing around the truth? Donald Trump is a danger to this country, her people, the world order, and every decent thing we've ever stood for, and in some cases, died for.

(5,268 posts)On Monday, Comey is expected to say definitively no wiretapping targeted at Trump.
But last night, Trump attempted to weasel out by falsely claiming he got info from NY Times and Fox news. So he lied again, since NY Times never alleged Pres. Obama authorized or ordered or requested any wiretapping of Trump- so media has been sent off on another goose chase to see what Bret Baier of Fox and NY Times really said.
