Amateur president Donald Trump finally broke his silence after unleashing conspiratorial claims on Twitter in which he accused Barack Obama of wiretapping his phones before the election. Team Trump has been twisting themselves into a pretzel trying to defend the former reality show star after he made the claims without offering proof. However, there is no evidence to back up Trump's crazy-time claim.

Trump defended his unsubstantiated claim by saying, "Wiretap covers a lot of different things," in an interview with Fox News's Tucker Carlson set to air Wednesday night, according to The Hill. "I think you're going to find some very interesting items coming to the forefront over the next two weeks."
