I am sure that Rachel herself would admit that this is a game changer...

Tonight, Slate is thrilled to announce weve obtained video footage of late night host Stephen Colbert spoofing Rachel Maddows cynical, reputation-scarring scoop from Tuesday night, which well share with you in this very post. But first, a little context. According to Wikipedia, Stephen Tyler Colbert is an American comedian, television host, and author, which is why were sure that this new video footagewhich well present to you shortlyis so historic and important. The Colbert segment is based on a segment that aired on MSNBC Tuesday night, featuring host Rachel Maddow, who started her career as a radio host in Holyoke, Massachusetts. Watching Colbert mimic Maddows distinctive diction and gesturesone television host versus anotherraises very interesting questions about how much the churn of cable news pushes people to overhype their stories, packing them with unecessary background information to make them seem more important. Its an issue youll no doubt be wondering about once youve seen the video for yourself...

(6,539 posts)Rachel Maddow is simply awesome! The zeitgeist seems to be deducting points for style. As if the dive into the Trump cesspool wasn't perfectly vertical. The degree of difficulty makes up for it though. Sadly, the Russian judge gave her a seven. While the rest of the judges delivered 9.9s.

(37,748 posts)Patience predicated on relevant information can indeed, be rather annoying and difficult for may people.
Our thirty-second attention span is convenient for visceral satisfaction, not so much however, for useful information, citing sources, or critical thought.
I feel your "annoyance," as I too, have little patience for the germane, the pertinent or the well-chosen.
That was great!
