(53,410 posts)Maybe we can do something in California for them to leave and also never come to visit!
The Deplorables should have their own state anyway. That way they can have whatever emperor they elect.

(22,893 posts)I accidentally ran into one of them on twitter who tweeted words to the effect that "it's about time those miserable moochers were deprived of Meals on Wheels-- no more handouts, etc." I was going to respond, then decided I didn't want to hear HIS miserable response anyway, so I didn't. Sickening

They need one of those islands that will soon sink into the sea. Maybe that's the real story of Atlantis!

(27 posts)I really do wish they'd all move there, live in their little white-supremacist, fascist, stupidity-filled frozen land. And yes, leave the rest of us folks who are thinking people alone.
Their ignorance is killing me!

(4,033 posts)Coventry:
The protagonist, David MacKinnon, is a romantic idealist on trial for assault. Since the federal government fears he will repeat his action, he is given a choice: either allow trained psychologists to fix him, or be sent to an area known as Coventry. MacKinnon chooses to emigrate to escape what he sees as the boredom of a too-civilized society. He is sent to the rugged outland beyond the Barrier that separates Coventry from the rest of the world, where people who refuse to abide by social norms are exiled, rather than submit to radical psychotherapy. MacKinnon discovers that the peaceful anarchy he envisioned is in reality a bleak dystopia split into three separate "countries"...
"Coventry" is a science fiction short story by American writer Robert A. Heinlein, part of his Future History series. It was collected into the book Revolt in 2100.

(13,133 posts)have also noticed many socially restrictive people (i.e. republican leaning) seem to pack up and move eastward to states like Utah, Idaho and such. Arizona and Nevada once were but now they seem to have a tinge because they are not enough Red Rock Republican anymore.
