(63,221 posts)sickened by it. People will suffer and die because of these cuts and it isn't because there is no money, but because these greedy bastards want that money for their wars, their stupid wall and tax cuts for people who don't need them. It's disgusting and enraging. The sick thing is that so many people that support these politicians call themselves "Christians" with a straight face.

If we give aid overseas it's humanitarian.
If we give aid to Americans, it's a handout.

(81,091 posts)in, all day today?
Everybody's wearing green. Lots of green neckties. For St. Patrick's Day. WHICH IS TOMORROW.
So why such a display today? Do they all plan to take tomorrow off? How nice for them if they can. While the rest of us work, scrape by, and wait in sheer terror to find out if they'll be thrown off their health care plan.
When Nancy Pelosi was Speaker of the House, one of the first things she did away with was this "country club work week" that the CONS had instituted for Congress. Show up late on Tuesday for a half day. Work all day Wednesday (!!! Oh the poor things! How overworked they all are!!!). Head out Thursday afternoon.
So on their watch - we got one full day's work a week, plus two half-days' work a week! What a bargain for all those salaries and benefits our tax money pays for, 'eh? Pelosi changed all that. And MAN did the CONS grumble and whine and snivel. And she replied with a more polite and diplomatic version of "FUCK YOU, you spoiled-rotten overbloated pantiwaists! STFU! We're here to WORK for the American people! SO GET TO WORK, DAMMIT!" Good Grief how they grumbled. It was actually embarrassing to watch.
They should ALL be ashamed of themselves on that side of the aisle.
