Anyone else getting the feeling that it is about to blow?

Republicans forced to admit Trump lied about Obama, Republicans looking out for themselves in the HC debate.

It has the look and feel of a cheap suit beginning to unravel and they won't want to be standing next to the Orange Turd with the little wee wee.

IMO, they can't take another week like this one, there will either be a major diversion or Donald will fall deeper into his own ignorant shit pile.

“In the face of this ever-escalating threat, it is clear that a different approach is required,” he said. “Part of the purpose of my visit to the region is to exchange views on a new approach.”

He declined to go into specifics about what a “different approach” might entail. The Trump administration is now conducting a review of North Korea policy, and some in Washington are advocating “kinetic options” — a euphemism for military action"

It sure seems like we're close. The ineptitude of the Trump regime
is biting them in the ass, hard. But I wouldn't underestimate
Republicans' keen ability to play ignorant.

Paul Ryan just weaseled around during an interview with Wolf Blitzer. Didn't want to say anything negative about Trump. Looked pained trying to defend him and deflected as best he could.

The budget released today is an absolute SHIT SHOW. Social media is melting down over the cuts to Meals on Wheels, the arts, etc. Mulvaney didn't do himself any favors by saying the school lunch program has no "proven" results.

These people are honestly certifiable. Pricks too. And millions voted for them (Trump + GOP). We're about to see just how much of a dystopian society the GOP really wants. I don't see how many Republicans can vote for such a budget. But hey, nothing surprises me anymore.

Meanwhile, we march toward next week and wait for Comey's Russia testimony. I don't have much faith in him right now either. He's the reason we're in this mess.

power of enormous power blocs. They all have lots of assets, dangerous shoals to avoid, and maneuvers that amateurs and outsiders know nothing about. It could all implode, but my guess is most of this is going to drag on for some while, some parts for a very long time time, with relatively quiet periods, periods of Republican successes, sudden judicial moves, and so on.

Don't forget, Nixon was reelected in the middle of the Watergate investigation. This is SO much bigger and more bizarre in every possible way, with so many more slimy criminals and wingnuts involved, that that may not be an appropriate comparison at all, but maybe it is a little. That took two years, and ultimately Nixon fell not because of the burglary but because of bad maneuvering.

a major distraction dropping his stink bombs as necessary to divert and distract - notice there isnt nearly as much outrage as one might expect or attention given to the dismantling of Medicade and the beginnings of "phasing out" (Paul Ryan's words) of Medicare. YES, THAT MEDICARE - the Medicare trust fund will be raided /diverted to the massive tax giveaways, thus paving the way for finishing it off and replacing it all with vouchers by the end of this year. Which then makes it possible to get rid of it altogether at some point.

Most media continues to be all Trump, allt he time - just as much as before the election. Unless one gets out of DU once in a while, one may not realize that this translates into a kind of normalcy with a wide swath of the American population -sorry to rain on the parade baut thats what Im seeing where I sit.
