I did it. Watched the Spiceboy Acosta exchange at cnn.com . I've temporarily lost my mind.

It is exactly what Conjob does. and McEnaney does. And any other of the trumpets when asked a question. It is gaslighting extraordinaire....it is a spew of distortions and lies that provides NO VALUE at all. How Acosta and others don't jump over the lectern and engage in fisticuffs - how they control themselves - is beyond reality.

I am sure that the media types that have to sit through these must go home and drink or toke heavily....I know I would have to.

These guys have taken propaganda and reality distortion to a whole new level. They are trying to keep everyone away from discussing anything grounded in fact.

Can't stand McConnell or Ryan either. And most GOP.

Spicer is like listening to nails on a chalkboard.

The thing is, Trump made the allegation "How low has President Obama gone to tapp my phones during the very sacred election process. This is Nixon/Watergate. Bad (or sick) guy!"

Spicer whines about all the stuff others have said. But

https://uk.news.yahoo.com/senate-panel-theres-no-evidence-192621755.html

"Based on the information available to us, we see no indications that Trump Tower was the subject of surveillance by any element of the United States government either before or after Election Day 2016," Republican Chairman Richard Burr and Senator Mark Warner, the committee's Democratic vice chairman, said in a statement.
...
The top Republican in Congress, House of Representatives Speaker Paul Ryan, on Thursday added his voice to those rejecting Trump's contention.

"The point is, the intelligence committees in their continuing, widening, ongoing investigation of all things Russia, got to the bottom - at least so far - with respect to our intelligence community that - that no such wiretap existed," Ryan told reporters.

That follows the report on Comey saying it didn't happen. Clapper shot it down. And others.

Spicer and Trump simply need to produce the evidence. It's been two weeks. They should have had the evidence before they made the allegations. But they can't because they don't have any.

with spy-glasses! DID YOU WRITE ABOUT THEM?!?! NO!

YOU KEEP WRITNG A FALSE NARRATIVE! You NEVER write about the transmitters in the chandeliers, WHICH, by the way, President Trump has asked our First Lady to find replacements for! NO, I don't know why the FBI couldn't find them, OR the cameras hidden in the President's cuff-links! And not for one minute does President Trump think the refrigerator light is innocent!

By the way, you have YET to print stories about the STOLEN STRAWBERRIES! What happened to the President's STRAWBERRIES?! ASK OBAMA!"

I wouldn't have been able to restrain myself from going up and ripping his throat out. Not only was Spicer's behavior rude, unprofessional and disrespectful, it was almost insanely out of control. Someone should have thrown him in a padded cell.

I couldn't finish watching it after that. I was just too disgusted.

Paternalism + gaslighting.

I am having extreme difficulty not jumping over the lectern, so to speak, and engagin in fisticuffs. I did't recognize it until you connected what I've been feeling with what - if I stopped to think about it - is going on.

...Acosta asked hypothetically, "how long can this go on, one month, two months, three months...." almost like he's acknowledging that the trump administration doesn't have long to exist.

And Trump only put "wire tapped" in quotes 2 out of 4 times.

I got to say, it saddens me to see the press counting instances of words in quotes to prove the president is lying.

If Hillary had been sworn in, we'd be talking about helping all of the people damaged in the storms ravaging our country, instead we are... Honestly, I'm not sure what we are doing. I guess we're watching Spicer throw a tantrum because he doesn't have the balls to tell his boss to just admit he's a liar.
