Look, we're not going to ask you for your hard-earned money anymore unless we can guarantee to you that that money is actually going to be used in a proper function. And I think that is about as compassionate as you can get.

They love war because they profit from it, bigly. They love the war and hate the veteran. They lose their compassionate souls for the vets when they are no longer useful and can no longer benefit from their profit margins. That is when their healthcare is taken away ban their pensions slashed. Amurica!

(111,254 posts)They don't mind starving the population because they figure hungry people will be obedient people who will do what they're told for crumbs.
They're completely wrong about both these things. However, rich men generally don't know history.

(1,606 posts)the vast majority of defense budget lines the pockets of private contractors/wealthy fuckers anyway. Yet, you would think that it goes to enlisted folks, vets, families, right?... NOPE. If it did, why would there need to be private charities to help Vets!? All those groups that have to try and gather up help/support for military families and vets causes? Wait, I thought there were billions and billions of $$$ for the military. Huh?! Yeah, that's what I thought.
Fuck them. sorry, I'll be quiet now.
