A trump supporter just contacted me.

I had posted something that hit him I guess and he agrees with me on some things. He saw common ground. I asked him to take those issues we agree on and call his congress person which I believe he will do.

This is what we are going to have to do. Find common ground and work from there.

Any help we can get, we need. There are elderly going to die and children going to go hungry if Trump gets what he wants.

This is as real as it gets.

YES! THIS is what WE must do. I mostly see the best in every one, past few months have been especially rough to do that. The ugly that is so rampant now, beats down our compassion. WE can't allow that to happen..finding the common ground, the HUMANITY, is our Work, & the WAY to overcome this mess. Thank YOU for gently finding "common" *HIGH* ground with this person, & others, I'm sure! & for posting this..I needed to hear this!

I keep making posts about how this or that new rule will cause them to see how they will be affected. Even if they don't like it, at least I'm getting the truth out. As fb friends, we may be their only true source for news. Whatever we share is being seen and is better than breitbart and infowars.
