... for part of the day.
(Yes, they won me back after I stopped watching them over a decade ago.)
Anyway, I am loving the way Don Lemmon keeps putting Trump's original tweets (re "Obama wiretapped me", "This is McCarthyism", etc.) up on the screen, and keeps reading them on-air every chance he gets.
Today's Sean Spicer presser has been a great source of bobble-head babble - and the Republicans are literally squirming.
I. Am. So. Enjoying. This.

Who'da thunk it? I guess Trump's early-on declaration that CNN was "fake news" lit a fire under some asses.

If something is going to break, my bet is that it will break on CNN.

(27,813 posts)... in the background. I keep watching for the "Breaking News" thingy - because with this administration, there's new info coming out almost on an hourly basis.
It's like watching one of those over-the-top prime-time soaps from the 80s - except it's really happening.

(4,787 posts)so to speek. As much as I can't stand listening to him, his inability to keep his trap shut is surprisingly helpful, international incidents aside.

(27,985 posts)If it weren't for my consistent nuclear nightmares (i thought I gave up night sweats when I went on HRT), I would be sloppy with this.
I've started watching CNN again after a twenty year hiatus. I started around the time MSNBC went weird. I've gone back to watching Rachel because she is constantly pulling on that Russian thread and it's fun again. She is still gagged but not like during the primaries. I think the higher ups realize they could have their very own Rather/Cronkite.
Surprisingly, a person who has (creepily?) become a favorite of mine is Shep Smith. Yeah, the one from Faux.
