(1,606 posts)I realize that the Nazis in our govt. now would love this and of course are encouraging Orange thing to do this - but please, is there anyone who can stop this thing? I am so worried about South Korea, more than ever lately (understandably)
Bannon would love nothing more than laying waste to "undesirables" like this, I don't know of any of the trump sycophants who would be against this/stand up against it- would the military have the courage to stand up against him if it comes down to it?
Does anyone know if trump uses a Samsung? Probably, right? Maybe appeal to his vanity there, if Seoul gets laid waste, no more smartphone, you fat shithead! Reconsider what you're doing. We have to treat him like the malignant narcissist that he is. Then again, he probably figures it'll be profitable to corner the tech market if they lay waste to South Korea entirely.
The logic behind this is probably that horrifyingly simple, right? Guess we have to think, what is Bannon trying to get out of it?

That's why you don't put someone like him in the White House. That's why many of us are so angry at the BoB types. This isn't a game. You can't hand the Presidency to someone like Trump as a protest. Look what may happen.

(39,284 posts)We can fight him directly on domestic issues, try our best to take the House next year, identify causes and people who need help and work to counteract his madness at home, but this kind of sneering bellicosity? He's cruel, undisciplined and able to shoot first and deal with the fallout later. In his case, he won't deal with it; it will be a black mark on our history that will outlive him for centuries. Out of our hands, and it's a terrible feeling.

And in China, a phone call to England for advice on how they got an apology so quickly.

(19,549 posts)I realize he's rattling sabers here to distract from his wire tapping claim, but he's also showing his mindset. He very well could start a war with NK just because he can. I'm not even sure he understands it would likely turn into a Third World War.
