Trump scares the shit out of me, and I'm really worried about saber-rattling vis-a-vis NKorea, but I really hate declarative statements like that.

N Korea has been a HUGE pain in the ass for China for years. They really don't get anything from N Korea but headaches. They are more worried about a million or more refuges fleeing north to China homeland.

China I think will step in as the responsible adult and come out look the best in this.

The only reason the NK shitshow exists is because it serves China's interests.

NK is their little pet, and they are NOT going to let us or SK act past the line.

You CANNOT just go at NK militarily.

You have to work China HARD, let them know they own the consquences if NK does anything stupid if they don't do something about it or let US do something about it first.

Past that, nothing you can do until it happens without going to war with China.
