Kellyanne Conway's husband is frontrunner to head civil division at Justice

President Trump is reportedly planning to pick top adviser Kellyanne Conway's husband to head the Justice Department's civil division, The Wall Street Journal reported Friday.

George Conway, husband of Kellyanne Conway, works as a New York GOP lawyer. Conway received his undergraduate degree from Harvard and his law degree from Yale. In the 1990s he was on the legal team of some of the women accusers of President Bill Clinton.

Conway is a partner at the firm Watchtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz. The Trump administration was previously considering Conway for the role of solicitor general. The role however went to Noel Francisco.

The position as the head of the Justice Department civil division would put Conway at the forefront of defending President Trump's executive order on immigration.

I've had a deep dislike for George Conway since the Paula Jones incident. Now he's going to be the one defending Trump. It seems ironic in some way.

Not to mention he's going to have a family member already there. It'll seem just like home to him I'm sure.

Or Mrs. Turtle?

This is what autocracy does - spread benefits and the rest of us can die in the gutters.
