Here's how a preemptive strike on North Korea would go down

Many deaths to say the least.

http://www.businessinsider.com/us-preemptive-strike-north-korea-2017-3/#first-a-decision-would-need-to-be-made-1

Military action against North Korea wouldn't be pretty. Civilians in South Korea, and possibly Japan, and US forces stationed in the Pacific would be likely to die in the undertaking no matter how smoothly things went.

In short, it's not a decision any US commander in chief would make lightly.

But the US would have to choose between a full-scale destruction of North Korea's nuclear facilities and ground forces or a quicker attack on only the most important nuclear facilities. The second option would focus more on crippling North Korea's nuclear program and destroying key threats to the US and its allies.

Since a full-scale attack could lead to "mission creep that could pull the US into a longterm conflict in East Asia," according to Tack of Stratfor, the US would most likely focus on a quick, surgical strike that would wipe out the bulk of North Korea's nuclear forces.

6. A war with nuclear armed NK

will be a massive bloodbath.

Many dead american troops, Korean civilians on both sides of the DMZ, Seoul reduced to rubble, possible Japan casualties and...?

I don't know if its true or not but NK may have nuclear tipped ICBM's that can reach the west coast.

This will be magnitudes worse than Iraq, guaranteed.

North korea will hit back with the conventional artillery they have massed at the border with south korea potentially hitting thousands of civilians and military personnel stationed there.

Think Orange Julius Ceaser will sit quietly if some Americans die from a NK nuke?

Seoul is easily in range of DPRK artillery, and there is little doubt they have chemical munitions.

There are lockers full of gas masks available in the subway stations in Seoul.

ONE OF WORLD'S LARGEST STOCKPILES

North Korea is not a signatory to the international Chemical Weapons Convention. It has been producing chemical weapons since the 1980s and is now estimated to have as many as 5,000 tons, according to a biennial South Korean defense white paper. Its stockpile, one of the world's largest, reportedly has 25 types of agents, including sarin, mustard, tabun and hydrogen cyanide. It also is thought to have nerve agents, such as the VX allegedly used by two women — one Vietnamese and the other Indonesian — to kill the North Korean leader's half brother, Kim Jong Nam. North Korea also has 12-13 types of biological weapons, said Lee Illwoo, a Seoul-based commentator on military issues. It can likely produce anthrax, smallpox and plague, the South Korean defense paper said. If war breaks out, North Korea would likely target Seoul's defenses with chemical and biological weapons dropped from aircraft or delivered via missiles, artillery and grenades, experts say.

If there was a relatively clean and safe way to get the totalitarian fuckknobs who run the DPRK out of power, I'd be all for it.. but I'm not sure how such a thing would work, and it's a terribly dangerous game to play.

the US will take out. It's mid-April he has more of his parades/celebrations, I think. I read someplace that is likely the time he'll fire one off again.
